Everything there is to know about my '91 Camaro, Suzanne....aka The Instigator
|
Here we have Suzanne
Suzanne is my 1991 Chevy Camaro RS. She came from the factory with a 170hp 305cid V8, 700-R4 automatic 4-speed transmission, and a 2.73 open differential rear end. She's a T-Top car and was completely stock when I bought her.

Modifications
Since I bought the car in April '98 I've built a new engine (details below), swapped in a T-56 6-speed manual transmission with a B&M Ripper shifter and STAR stage 3 clutch, backed it up with a 3.70 ratio 9-bolt rear, rewired the entire car, and made various other minor repairs and upgrades.

It seems that all my detailed descriptions and pics of my car have been lost. I'll put them back up one day but right now I'm too tired.

This is my 355cid SBC
I built this engine myself, it's a Chevy 350 block bored .030" over, with forged pistons and a cast crank and rods. I'm running 462 casting GM heads (till I get the cash for better ones) and a Crane cam with .472/.488" lift with 1.5's and 235/235* duration at .050" on a 112* lobe seperation. The intake is an Edelbrock Performer RPM topped by an Edelbrock 750cfm mechanical secondary carb. I'm running K&N's X-Stream air cleaner and Accel HEI ignition with Bosch plugs. The exhaust consists of Hedman ceramic coated shorty headers and a custom built 3" Y-pipe, blowing into a 3-chamber Flowmaster and right out the back. I also have a Fluidampr to control crankshaft vibration, and have obviously dumped all the emissions equipment.

A shot of the dash and console
Stock gauges which aren't very accurate, a shiftlight made by Matt Harlan where the lighter once was, a switchpanel and push-button start above a Pioneer stereo and 9-band EQ, the 6-speed shifter and of course a Grant steering wheel. |
